6 More Weeks!

I had an awful dream last night! I dreamt about how we were two hours late to our own wedding and people started to leave. We also forgot our rings, my shoes, to get the marriage license, the food wasn't there, and we didn't have any beverage cups! The only solace I found after that stressful dream was knowing that we HAVE completed a majority of things!

1.) We have a beautiful venue where the ceremony AND reception will be held
2.) All of our clothing is paid for including: tuxes, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses and my dress!
3.) We have a delicious menu arranged to be catered
4.) Our cake is ordered and paid for
5.) We have a photographer, DJ, and videographer
6.) The decorations are, for the most part, purchased and planned
7.) Flowers have been ordered
8.) Honeymoon tickets and reservations have been made!
9.) Formal invitations have just been finished and will be mailed tomorrow!

The most exciting news is that we are only 6 short weeks away from the big day! We couldn't be more ready and hope to see many of our friends and family there!

Weekend Weeds

With spring come the weeds! We spent the better part of Saturday and a little of Sunday pulling up weeds in the garden beds and around the lawn. And by we, I mean my parents, Cam and I. As cliche as it seems, Camron and I took a picture to display how we felt after pulling up all those weeds ;)

I've been meaning to update our blog for a couple months now but other things have been taking priority! Both Camron and I are extremely busy teaching, taking classes, and planning our wedding which is now a little more than 2 months away! Pictured below is a photograph of us on the front porch of where we'll be living after we get married. For the time being I'm here with my two cats and dog until Cam moves in after the big day!

In case you're curious, the house is owned by my parents who worked countless hours resurfacing walls, painting, and cleaning to get it ready for me to move into in early March. Of course Cam and I helped, but they put lots of time and money into making it nice and we really appreciate and love them!

The house was originally built in a different location aroun 1895. In the early 60's someone decided to move the house instead of demolishing it due to our local dairy buying land that it was built on. It's a cute little house and just perfect to start off our first year of marriage!
